Workshop NLP – Pita Cutting

WORKSHOP TITLE: “The applications of NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming) in  Teaching” on Saturday, February 6th, 2010 09:30 am – 13:30 pm (with a 30min break for pita cutting ). Speaker: Kanderaki Maria, certified NLP Trainer.

MARIA KANDERAKIS’ C.V. IN BRIEF

Maria Kanderaki has studied Psychology and Systemic Theory in Greece and United States. She has been certified as an NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Trainer from the NLP University in Santa Cruz California and is a member of GTC (Global Trainers’ Community) of NLP. She has about twelve years of teaching and work experience, both in Greece and USA. At the present moment she lives in Heraklion Crete where she works as a Family Psychotherapist and an NLP Trainer.

OBJECTIVES OF THE WORKSHOP:

  • Applying NLP techniques in teaching creates an improved mutual communication between students and teachers that enhances the understanding of the lecture.
  • NLP techniques can quickly create an open, playful, safe & friendly atmosphere in the classroom which is the appropriate environment for learning.
  • With NLP techniques instructors can reach the best potential performance of their students.

THE FORM OF THE WORKSHOP:

The success of NLP is based on the way it is being taught, which is:

  • demonstration
  • application
  • feedback

The seminar – understanding and appreciating the academic background and the long experience of the participants – will be focused more in the application of NLP techniques thus it will require the full participation and cooperation of the participants
